Solid Timber - Sheoak

Sheoak is becoming more difficult to obtain and is therefore normally more expensive that the readily available species such as Jarrah. Sheoak is normally quarter sawn, as this allow the grain patterns to stand out and exposes fair amounts of "fiddleback" in the timber. This is one of the most stable timbers available and can at times be difficult to obtain in flooring.
