Solid Timber - Tasmainian Oak

Tassie Oak or Tasmainian Oak is  the trade name for a mixture of two or more species. The main species included are Mountain Ash, Alpine Ash and Messmate. These timbers are straight grained with moderately prominent growth rings and of medium hardness. Colour variation and minor gum veins are natural features and are not regarded as defects.

Colour varies from straw to reddish brown with intermediate shades of cream to pink.
