Spotted Gum

Spotted Gum is one of Australia's premium native hardwoods and is milled from sustainable managed Australian forests.  

This is a very attractive and popular species, with striking apprearance,  warmth, strength, beauty  and a high degree of natural durability  this timber floor has proved very popular for timber flooring.

This timber displays beautiful creams, golden browns, yellows and rich olive/khaki greens. Sapwood is usually white to light brown in colour.

Availabe in 80mm x 10mm, 86 x 12mm, 130 x 14mm and 130 x 19mm sizes.

Janka hardness rating of 11

Select Grade: (Light Feature): The features that are present are relatively small and few in number. Irrespective of the species the features altough visible do not dominate the appearance of the floor.

Standard & Better Grade: Combines the features of select & standard grade to provide a floor with slightly more character than a select grade timber.

Feature Grade: Although similar to standard grade but with features more frequest & dominant.
